Are you starting to plan your wedding and are at that stage when you are thinking about your fabulous wedding stationery?? The colours, the style, how the envelopes will look, and then what about the menu and table numbers?!

 

I feel you!!

 

You are brainstorming sooo many ideas that it’s hard to concentrate!

 

And let’s face it, Pinterest sometimes does not help at all!! It gives you tuns of inspiration and it’s difficult to stay focused on your wedding theme and colour palette.

For my wedding I had the exact same problem! But one thing I was sure of, I wanted a watercolour calligraphy invitation! I’m just so totally in love with blue / light blue watercolours (in case you couldn’t tell from my logo) and of course calligraphy. We made a DIY watercolour calligraphy menu, table numbers, seating plans, invitations.. all in the tones of the blue / light blue as we had a Greek theme for our Destination Wedding in Italy!

 

However, if you don’t want to stress over creating your DIY stationery (like we did!!), I want to introduce you to my personal favourite UK stationer!

 

I’m talking about the lovely and incredibly talented Gemma Milly!!

 

Gemma designs and creates the most perfect and bespoke wedding invitation and I’m a MAJOR FAN of her designs & illustrations! Especially her watercolour calligraphy invitation!!! Seriously, there is nothing prettier around!!! I totally ADORE them!

 

Gemma and I met in April during one of her calligraphy workshop. I was honoured to be her photographer on the day capturing all the prettiness that was set up at her workshop!! And let’s face it.. it wasn’t hard :)

On top of that, the event was held at Peggy Porschen in Belgravia, London. It couldn’t get better than this! If any of you don’t know this place, do yourself a favour and visit them right now!!

 

They create the most irresistibile, delicious and super yummy cakes, cupcakes, cookies, macarons… I can go on and on! :) And their Belgravia shop is just adorable.  Trust me, you won’t be able to get out of their shop!!

 

Before Gemma’s class we very treated with pink lemonade, macarons and their champagne strawberry cupcakes! We were in heaven!
