In this feature, we’re heading overseas for an elegant and romantic destination wedding in the South of France. I absolutely adore working as a South of France wedding photographer and this luxury wedding at the Four Seasons Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat near Nice had it all. So, if you’re ready to travel, let’s go.
Jane and Joe were a truly delightful couple to work with and it was a joy getting to know them. They’re based in the UK but chose the South of France for their intimate, stylish and oh-so chic destination wedding on the glamorous French Riviera. They selected a gorgeous venue – the iconic Four Seasons Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat so the scene was most definitely set for an elegant and memorable wedding.
The bride prepared for her wedding at the hotel and it was such a fun morning for everyone. Jane was pampered by Chloe Williams and Victoria Reynolds who created a natural, beautiful wedding look for her and, when Jane slipped into her delicate Berta Bridal wedding dress, she was transformed into a stunning bride.
Joe opted for a classic black-tie look and I loved the addition of the waistcoat underneath the jacket. Jane’s bridesmaid and flowergirl wore delicate pink dresses, perfect for the South of France.
After their romantic outdoor ceremony in the hotel’s idyllic gardens, it was time for some photos and the grounds of the hotel provided the perfect backdrop. However, I couldn’t resist taking a few portraits inside, with Jane’s amazing dress being shown off in style! Before the wedding reception, we also captured a number of sunset wedding portraits and these are a super romantic reminder of the day.
Jane is an event coordinator herself and she planned a brilliant celebration that was just fabulous. The florals and floral arrangements, by Mariella Aprosio, perfectly complemented the location and the atmosphere of the day and the candelabras on the tables provided a very sophisticated touch.
The couple’s lucky guests enjoyed a wedding reception that showcased all the best produce of the region and the stunning wedding cake, made by the hotel’s talented pastry chef, was a triumph. Jane and Joseph’s initials featured in the final design and the roses were romantic finishing touch.
After taking to the dancefloor for their first dance, Jane and Joseph started the party to Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ and everyone was singing along, the perfect start to an unforgettable party and to married life for this wonderful couple.
If you’re thinking that you’ve seen Jane and Joseph’s wedding before, you might be right! They’ve recently featured on the pages of You & Your Wedding and here on WedLuxe.
