I have to start by saying that this Cliveden House wedding was absolutely fantastic. I love Cliveden and, as a luxury London wedding photographer, it’s also a treat to step outside of the capital and into one of the UK’s most impressive wedding venues. Natalie and Daniel’s early autumn wedding was such a joy and it’s a huge pleasure to share their celebration with you here.
Natalie and Daniel really wanted to make the most of their wedding and hired Cliveden House exclusively for their two-day wedding celebration. I had the pleasure of being with them on both days and, as a Cliveden House wedding photographer, I was on hand to capture their romantic and elegant wedding.
On the day before the wedding itself, we held a pre-wedding portrait session as the sun was setting before enjoying a BBQ and a tranquil boat ride on the River Thames that flows beneath Cliveden House. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the night before a wedding in this beautiful setting.
The wedding day itself saw a complete transformation of Cliveden House thanks to the fabolous work of Bespoke London and the team at Cliveden, and every detail oozed romance. A stunning mirrored aisle was lined by incredibly florals from Richard Elder Floral Design and the floral arch provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s outdoor ceremony.
Natalie and Daniel were both dressed to impress for their ceremony. Natalie wore a beautiful Phillipa Lepley gown with Manolo Blahnik heels and make-up and hair by Claire Nicole, whilst Daniel opted for the classically stylish black tie option.
With the formalities over, the rest of the day was all about entertainment and enjoyment. Musicians, an aerial dancer and a magician from Sternberg Clarke entertained guests during the drinks reception in the gardens and there was even an adorable vintage carousel from Irvin Funfairs on the lawns!
Inside, the stage was set for a spectacular wedding breakfast. Beautiful tableware from Duchess & Butler added colour and style to tables decorated with flowers and candles. Rosalind Miller’s fabulous wedding cake and dessert table were utterly elegant and I loved the couple’s ‘take a shot’ table plan.
In the evening, the vibe totally changed and Cliveden House became a jungle! Lighting, decorations, details and superb props all came together to create a very animalistic party. The themed cake and sweet treats buffet from Rosalind Miller was a real hit as was the jungle-themed photo booth from Beatrice and Bertrum. I also have to mention the mist orbs from Lick Me I’m Delicious and the 11-piece band Totem Superstars that made sure everyone hit the dancefloor to celebrate with the newlyweds, Natalie and Daniel, a sweet and extremely kind couple who I’ve loved working with.
It’s always a pleasure working alongside my partner in crime and talented cinematographer Alessandro Bordoni Films. Don’t miss his highlight wedding video of Natalie & Daniel below!
