Capturing Urte & Danilo’s three-day wedding celebration in Puglia was an unforgettable experience, combining cultural pride, elegant traditions, and heartfelt moments. The couple, Danilo—who is Apulian/Swiss—and Urte, a Lithuanian bride, hosted an outdoor summer wedding that celebrated their roots and their love for Puglia. Danilo’s father hails from the region, and their shared passion for Puglia inspired them to create an authentic experience for their 60 guests, who traveled from around the world.
The festivities began with a charming prewedding portrait session in the traditional village of Alberobello, followed by a vibrant welcome event at the historic Masseria Mangiato. This sixteenth-century farmhouse, one of the region’s oldest, was the perfect hidden gem to showcase the authentic side of Puglia. The theme, La Festa di Paese, featured traditional Apulian music, pizzica dancers, and the famous local band Terraross. Guests received personalized tambourines (tamburelli) as keepsakes and enjoyed hands-on culinary experiences, including making mozzarella knots and panzerotti at interactive food stations, alongside a variety of local delicacies like fried zucchini blossoms, charcuterie, and olive oil tastings. The couple arrived in a classic Ape Calessino, echoing the simplicity and charm of local village life, and danced the night away under twinkling lights.
The main event took place at the breathtaking Masseria Pettolecchia La Residenza, exclusively rented for the week. Urte wore a bespoke Berta gown, that arrived just days before the wedding from Israel, with a cathedral-length veil by Idea Sposa. Danilo prepared at the luxurious Borgo Egnazia, while the sunset beach ceremony offered a stunning setting for their vows.
The couple made a grand entrance to the reception in a luxurious Ferrari Testarossa with custom plate, a rare beauty with only 50 in the world that added a touch of cinematic flair. They were followed by local musicians, setting the festive tone for a long evening of celebration.
The couple kicked off the party with a first dance to Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love. The French band Echoes Of kept the energy high, performing ’70s disco, soul, and funk classics—perfectly aligned with the night’s music theme. A dazzling 3-D video mapping display by Hermes Mangialardo on the masseria's facade added a visual spectacle to the disco vibes.
The evening culminated in an incredible fireworks display, followed by guests dancing into the night and eventually jumping into the pool for a fun-filled finale.
The weekend concluded with a relaxed beach party at Masseria Pettolecchia Il Lido, ending their celebrations on a joyful and memorable note.
