Could there be anything more romantic than a wedding in Paris? :)

 

This was my first time working as a Paris Wedding Photographer and it certainly did not disappoint. I love working in France and I’m often in the South of France photographing weddings and celebrations.

 

I now can’t wait to go back to France as this stylish wedding celebration in Paris has definitely let me wanting more. And, once you’ve taken a look at this amazing wedding, I’m sure you’ll feel the same.

 

Before we take a look at this wonderful luxury wedding in Paris, let me introduce you to the bride and groom. Daniela and Marc are a truly gorgeous couple, in every way. Daniela is a Colombian and Marc is a Parisian and they both live in Colombia. So, their Paris wedding was actually a destination wedding and they invited 80 of their closest friends and family from all around the world to join them for this very special occasion.

 

The amazing Shangri-La Hotel in Paris was the base for the couple’s celebrations and, for a Paris wedding photographer, this venue really has it all, including spectacular views across the City of Love and the Tour Eiffel.

 

Daniela and Marc’s wedding was a beautiful day from start to finish. We began with bridal preparations with the talented Sanny Sorma at the Shangri-La and we also found time for some bridal portraits before leaving for a church wedding ceremony at the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Pres. This was an absolutely stunning setting for the ceremony itself and it was certainly an emotional part of the day.

 

Following the ceremony, and confetti, we took a little time out for wedding portraits in Paris’s famous Louvre area. The buildings, the lampposts, the light and the iconic backdrops made this the perfect location for Daniela and Marc’s romantic wedding photos in Paris. Even though it rained, we barely noticed :) We finished off our session at the fabolous Shangri-La penthouse for some private wedding portraits overlooking the Tour Eiffel.

 

Back at the Shangri-La, it was time to celebrate and the newlyweds hosted an elegant and stylish candlelit wedding reception for their guests. The tables were dressed with beautiful flowers and I loved the whole look of the dinner, particularly the mix of the modern and the traditional and historic. The planning, the flowers and styling of the whole day was a triumph and congratulations to Luxe Paris Events for organising a perfect Paris wedding.

 

I also adored Daniela’s dreamy Viktor & Rolf wedding dress full of flowers, and her matching headpiece by Le Touquet. It suited the stylish and romantic feel of the day perfectly and Daniela looked fabulous wearing it.

 

The delicious wedding cake designed by the very talented Synies was also inspired by Daniela’s Viktor & Rolf wedding gown and was adorned with delicate flowers. Such a lovely idea. 

 

Marc opted for black-tie from the Colombian Marsanti Bespoke and again, this was the ideal choice for the day. 

 

Before I finish, I have to mention the party because it was INCREDIBLE! The insane ‘Colombian Tropics’ vibe was just brilliant and the couple also included a traditional Colombian ‘hora loca’ into their celebrations. The night could not have been more fun, thanks to the fabolous entertainment, performances, musicians, and singers from Inspiration Live Music. The details and decorations were, again, perfection and every guest wore a traditional mask at some point in the evening!
